Privacy Policy for GPS Camera

Introduction:

  •         GPS Camera is developed and operated by JJ Creator. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. By installing or using GPS Camera, you agree to this Privacy Policy. The App is provided free with optional premium purchases and is designed for entertainment and personal use only, not for creating official or legally binding documents.

What We Do Not Collect:

  •         GPS Camera respects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information including your name, phone number, or physical address except for Google Sign-In authentication as explained below. We do not upload, store, or access any photos or videos you capture. All photos remain exclusively on your device. While the App uses your location to display GPS coordinates on watermarks, we do not collect, store, or track your location data. Everything is processed locally on your device. We do not collect photo metadata, usage analytics, or browsing history.

Device Permissions:

  •         The App requires certain permissions to function properly. Camera permission is needed to capture photos with GPS watermarks. Photos are processed on your device and we never upload them. Location permission is required to get GPS coordinates, altitude, speed, and address information for watermarks. This data is processed entirely on your device and never transmitted anywhere. Location accuracy depends on GPS signal, device hardware, and environmental factors, and we do not guarantee accuracy. Storage permission on older Android versions allows the App to save photos to your device and access photos you want to edit. We only access photos you explicitly select. On Android 13 and above, scoped storage is used. Internet permission is used only for displaying Google Maps, loading advertisements, converting GPS coordinates to addresses, verifying premium subscriptions through Google Play Billing, and authenticating Google Sign-In for premium users.

Google Sign-In and Premium Accounts:

  •        GPS Camera offers optional Google Sign-In exclusively for premium users to link their subscription to their Google account and restore premium features across devices. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture URL. This information is used only for authenticating your premium subscription, identifying your account for premium access, and displaying your profile in the App. We do not share your Google information with third parties, use your email for marketing, access any other Google services like Drive or Gmail, or store your Google password. Premium features are restricted to users who maintain account integrity. We reserve the right to revoke premium access if we detect fraudulent payment activities, account sharing violations, manipulation of subscription systems, or violations of our Terms of Service. Premium access is non-transferable and linked to your specific Google account.

Premium Features and In-App Purchases:

  •         GPS Camera offers a one-time premium purchase that provides an ad-free experience, access to premium watermark templates, watermark customization options, additional photo editing features, and premium filters and effects. All purchases are processed through Google Play Store's billing system. We do not collect or store your credit card information, process payments directly, or have access to your payment details. Payment is handled exclusively by Google Play according to their privacy policy. Premium features require a valid Google account signed in through Google Sign-In, successful payment through Google Play Billing, and an account in good standing. To verify premium status, the App communicates with Google Play Billing servers to confirm active subscriptions and validate purchase authenticity without sharing personal information beyond your Google Play purchase token. Refunds are governed by Google Play Store's refund policy. Please contact Google Play Support for refund requests.

Advertising:

  •         The free version of GPS Camera displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Premium users receive an ad-free experience. Google AdMob may collect certain information for ad personalization including device advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, general location at city or country level, and ad interaction data. This data collection is performed by Google AdMob according to their privacy policy, not by GPS Camera. We do not have access to or control over this data. You can control ad personalization through Google Ad Settings at https://adssettings.google.com, device settings for ad tracking, or by opting out of personalized ads in your Google account. We recommend reviewing Google AdMob's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Maps Integration:

  •         GPS Camera integrates Google Maps to display your current location on a map view, show map-based watermarks on photos, and provide address lookup and reverse geocoding. When you use map features, Google Maps may collect location requests for map display, map interaction data, and device and network information. This data is collected by Google Maps SDK according to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not collect or access this information. Map features require internet connectivity and location data sent to Google Maps is used solely for displaying map tiles, converting coordinates to addresses, and rendering map-based watermarks.

Editable Information and User Responsibility:

  •         GPS Camera allows users to manually modify date and time stamps, GPS coordinates, addresses and location names, altitude and speed readings, and custom text and labels displayed on photo watermarks. This is very important to understand. Photos created with GPS Camera may display edited or modified information that does not reflect actual reality. Date and time displayed on watermarks can be manually changed and may not represent the actual capture time. GPS coordinates, addresses, and location information can be manually modified and may not represent the actual location where the photo was taken. The App may modify photo EXIF metadata including date, time, and GPS coordinates based on watermark settings and user edits. We do not guarantee, verify, or certify the accuracy, authenticity, or truthfulness of any information displayed on photo watermarks.
  •         GPS Camera is provided for entertainment purposes, personal memory keeping, travel documentation, creative photography, and utility and convenience. The App is not intended for creating official documents, legal evidence or court proceedings, insurance claims, professional documentation requiring verification, or any purpose requiring certified accurate timestamps or location proof.
  •         By using GPS Camera, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely and completely responsible for how you use photos created with this App, including any edited or modified information displayed on watermarks. You accept full liability for any consequences resulting from using edited photos for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purposes. The developer JJ Creator is not responsible, liable, or involved in any way for how you use photos created with this App, any misrepresentation of information on photo watermarks, any legal, financial, or personal consequences resulting from your use of edited photos, any damages, losses, or claims arising from reliance on watermark information, or any third-party reliance on photos you create and share.
  •         You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use GPS Camera for fraud, scams, or deceptive practices, creating fake location proof or alibi evidence, insurance fraud or false claims, misleading employers, authorities, or other parties, any illegal or unethical activities, harassment, stalking, or invasion of privacy, or violating any person's or entity's rights.
  •         You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JJ Creator from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses including reasonable attorney fees arising from your use or misuse of the App, your violation of this Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, your violation of any laws or regulations, any edited or modified photos you create and distribute, or any third-party claims related to photos you create with the App.

Children's Privacy:

  •         GPS Camera is intended for users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since this App does not collect personal information, there is no collection of data from children under 13. The App functions entirely on-device without data transmission. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 is using this App, you may uninstall the App from their device, monitor their device usage, or contact us at policy@jjcreator.com with any concerns. We will cooperate with parents to address any issues.

Data Security and Storage:

  •         All core App functionality occurs on your device including photo processing and watermark application, location data retrieval and display, date and time modifications, and photo storage and management. We do not upload your photos to cloud servers, maintain any cloud storage infrastructure for user content, backup your photos or data to external servers, or synchronize your photos across devices. Photos and data remain on your device and are subject to your device's security measures. We recommend using device lock screens and encryption, regularly backing up important photos, managing app permissions carefully, and keeping your device operating system updated. For users with premium subscriptions using Google Sign-In, account authentication is handled by Google's secure infrastructure, we store only your Google account identifier not password, premium status is verified through Google Play Billing, and account data is encrypted during transmission.

Data Retention and Deletion:

  •         Since all photos and data remain on your device, you have complete control over data retention. You can delete photos at any time through your device's gallery or file manager. Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete photos as they remain in your device storage. If you use Google Sign-In for premium features, account authentication data is retained as long as you use premium features. You can revoke Google Sign-In access at any time through your Google Account settings. Uninstalling the App or revoking premium access will clear local account data. To request deletion of any data we may hold limited to Google Sign-In authentication data, email us at policy@jjcreator.com with your request. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that deletion of account data will revoke premium feature access.

Your Privacy Rights:

  •         You have the right to access all photos and data stored on your device, control which permissions the App has access to, modify or delete any photos created with the App, and uninstall the App at any time. You can opt out of location services though this limits App functionality, personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings, premium features by not purchasing or requesting refund through Google Play, and Google Sign-In though premium features will not be accessible. We do not send marketing communications or newsletters. Any communications from us will be critical App updates or security notices, responses to your support requests, or legal notices if required.

Changes to This Privacy Policy:

  •         We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect new features or functionality, comply with legal requirements, improve clarity and transparency, or address user feedback. When we make material changes, the Last Updated date will be revised and we may display an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically, check for updates before using the App, and contact us if you have questions about changes.

Legal Disclaimers:

  •         GPS Camera is provided as is and as available without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy of GPS data, location information, or timestamps, uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with all devices or operating systems, or security against all possible threats. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JJ Creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities, damages arising from use or inability to use the App, damages resulting from edited or modified photos, or claims by third parties based on photos you create. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on warranties or liability. In such cases, the above limitations may not apply to you, and our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Third-Party Services:

  •         The App may contain links to third-party websites or services including Google Play Store and our website. We are not responsible for privacy practices of third-party sites, content or accuracy of external websites, or any damages or losses from using third-party services. The App integrates Google Play Services for app distribution, billing, and authentication, Google AdMob for advertising in free version, Google Maps SDK for map display and geocoding, and Google Sign-In for premium account authentication. Each service operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service, which we encourage you to review.

Governing Law:

  •         This Privacy Policy and your use of GPS Camera shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy or use of the App should first be addressed by contacting us at policy@jjcreator.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.

  •         By installing, accessing, or using GPS Camera, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. You specifically acknowledge and agree that you understand the App allows editing of dates, times, and locations on photos, photos may not represent accurate or authentic information, you are solely responsible for how you use edited photos, the developer is not liable for any misuse or consequences of your use, you will use the App legally and ethically, and you are at least 13 years of age. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must immediately uninstall the App and cease all use.
